Broadcast launches diverse talent search

Written By: Robin Parker  7/7/15

Broadcast is hunting for TV’s rising BAME stars for a special issue this summer.

With the main broadcasters all promising to do more to improve diversity, we thought it was incumbent on Broadcast to shine a spotlight on the UK’s most promising Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) talent under 30.

Entries are now open for this year’s Hot Shots and we’re looking for the brightest and best across all genres of TV and in all roles.

Nominees should be put forward by named senior individuals and have a proven track record of the initiative and drive to make it in broadcasting. TV credits, awards and any rapid progress will all be considered.

Entries are due in by 23 July and the people chosen will be invited to a photoshoot in early August, to be published in the 27 August issue of Broadcast.
